i Frag!!!

The long anticipated Quake 4 is finally here. The graphics and the new mission play modes are being anticipated as the latest attractive features of this game.
This is a game many had been waiting, including me for as long as arond 2 years. A lot of new weapons and new play styles have been introduced by ID games. Though the videos seem show this new game similar to the Unreal Tournament 2003 edition, but the verdict can be decided after playing the actual game. My fingers are just thirsty for those mouse clicks , the ears for those oh so great sound effects of Quake, eyes for the festing graphics and ofcourse the mind for that exhilarating experience of the play.

There are also vehicular missions in this new edition, and also you can jack robots or bots to fight the enemy. The weapons have a more defined graphical image and realisitc effects. The best part is you can still burst the bodies of the enemy, the weapons also have two modes of firing perhaps(this I am assuming on the basis of seeing the videos , i have not been able to get my hands on the demo still). This weekend I will be aiming to get my hands on the demo of The Quake 4.

The sounds of Quake are like music to my ears , particularly , "You Win!!!", "Excellent", "Perfect", "Accuracy" , " Humiliation(when I pumell someone)", "Impressive" and ofcourse "3 Frags left", "2 Frags left" and finally "1 Frag left". I really did spend 6-7 hours at a stretch at times playing the predecessor Quake III. I like the game all in all for a unique flavor it has.
Happy Fragging !!!!!!! Here I come!!!

The First Drive

Yesterday I drove a brand new Opel Corsa. My roomie bought the car and I went with him to bring back the vehicle. The car is a breeze to drive but the letdown is the mileage , which is perhaps 10km/litre. Keeping in mind the soaring fuel prices, i am considering a Santro.

Bringing the vehicle back through the delhi traffic is really a bothering experience, the trafficis like Bumper to Bumper for the vehicles. The traffic in delhi is really disorganized , but this does not take away the pleasure of driving the GM engine. The vehicle is a really very responsive kinds for the size and it really felt like the front shocks exhaluted if I push the accelarator hard in the 1st Gear. The vehicle I would say has decent interiors for the cost. If GM could give +3 Km/litre more then the present mileage , I would not even think of some other car. The car has a decent ground displacement and a huge Boot to complement it . Moreover the hatchback variant ,Sail , is also available.

Next year I am gonna buy a car , I think I am more of a performance freak the nthe mileage, but Yeah I need to consider my reach ..hehe. The decision impends, I m gonna solve the jinx by mid of next year for sure.

Linkin park rocks

I just like Linkin park for the different kind of music these guys play. They have a mood changing music. The music makes me wanna live in the fast lane for the time I am listening to that.
The series Linkin Park feat Jay-Z is real cool. The music videos of Linkin park are something away from the common thing and are in a way tastefully unique.
I especially put my money on Crawling (I know this is fav for all), In The End, Faint, Papercut,Lyin, One Step Closer and Somewhere I belong . I even searched and got a Linkin Park tshirt this summer. It has the all the guys on it and its from their album Meteora.
Here I am donning the Linkin park tee,
In the end it doesnt even matter, the video of this song is awesome. Am listening to the Linkin park, there is a tune in the following song Linkin Park && Jay-Z - 02 - Big Pimpin' - Papercut.mp3 ,The tune has really creeped into my mind and I keep humming it where ever I am , sometimes even inviting quizzing looks in the Elevator at my office ;)
The graffiti on the Linkin Park Site is really cool and different.
here is a sample fossil from the Linkin park haven. They always have the latest Album's songs
playing on their site and also the streaming Video cast of their latest event's videos ..
All in all Linkin park rocks...Yo!!!

Sometimes...Life is a bitch

Something I was thinking about and this thing came to my mind

Life is a wonderwall,
Live it large,dont fall.

Sometimes things go over the hot wire when you feel there is a least probability of them going like that. Thats the time when the mind says "Oh Shittt!!!" Why me ?
Things happen to you directly or indirectly which you think that you may not deserve.
But larger then life is all it takes to keep yourself happy and pushing and not give up.
Soft music is playing on the pc ..i am listening to "Jesus to a child --George michaels" .Good Music has the prowess to take away your mind on its waves for that ride , that leaves your mind happy and wanting for more. Things in life sometimes weigh on you in a way that you are not just able to find a way out of them and the irony is that you cant even tell them to anybody. But again one of my favorite sayings I remember and say to myself " Hey!!Whats the hurry?? Life goes on!!!" and yeah it does...for me and for everyone. Its always better not to believe in giving up...

The Indian car choice

Most probably, next year, I plan to buy a car. I would go for a medium segment car, and in the present market my choice maybe wrested on the Suzuki Swift. But I think in a gradually maturing car market like India, there should be some more choice off the shelf .
According to me Ford fusion and Hyundai Getz are overpriced in light of what they offer. With players like Honda, Toyota and GM in the country , I had expected some more cars populating this segment to arrive by the end of 2005. This would give a wider array of choice for the Indian consumer. Toyota Aygo is a good alternative for this segment in India , GM's Spark (the rechristened Matiz) is probably going to be launched jan 2006, but still its the same old matiz. Moreover the electronics and accessories in India are double their costs in Dollars in the US.
Come on ..Dammnit!!! We, in the first place, don’t earn dollar salaries and still we have to shell double the amount., I hate shelling out twice the money for something that I can get half the cost. Just compromising on the fact that I have to wait for someone to come from the US to bring that for me, its worth the wait.
The Automotive players in the country should take note of the increasing will to spend money by the neo-Indian soon enough. I need to have 2-3 cars in choice to decide on one to buy. Its said that the Swift is a let down on the interiors but if there is competition then this kind of laxity is taken care of much by the player. I am waiting till the mid of next year and if there is no more choice then the current, I will be going for the Swift.

Another Weekend ,another movie

This weekend was not much happening. The saturday I had the final sitting (as of now) with my Dentist. The usual Metro journey with the similar sites. This time around I went to see the underground stations to the Connaught Place too, just for a ride feel.
It actually is really cool to see how Metro has been built so fast in the middle of Delhi and that also 2 levels under the ground, it simply is a marvel of technology. I praise the Delhi Govt for this initiative and the monorail is in the pipeline, hope that goes great too.
Saturday evening I saw the movie "Flight Plan" . Based on an Aeronautical Engineer mother, the movie unearths a sinister hijacking plot in a very dramatic way. A must once watch movie. The things begin to unfold in the second half of the movie . These kind of movies specially appeal more to the audience.I remember a movie in this league, it still appeals to me very much , its Resident Evil. This movie (Flight Plan) is a relishingly thought concept, potraying how the Hijackers choose an engineer who is well aware of the aircraft's different corners. The aircraft in the movie is really huge. And Jodie Foster sure does know the plane inside out , the tagline for the movie goes like this "Tagline: If Someone Took Everything You Live For... How Far Would You Go To Get It Back?". Jodie's daughter is hidden in the plane and she is convinced by everyone on the plane that her daughter never was on the plane and that she has become phsycic by the loss of her husband. She is told that her husband and her daughter died in the same accident, but she is one hell of a Brave mother and she porves this for sure by the end of the movie.
As usual I didnt miss on my meetha paan on the Sunday evening , just went to the mall to have my dinner. Had Chicken Manchow soup and chilly chicken at the New Woks chinese restuarant. This restuarant is one of the best in quality of chinese food and for sure he serves so much in quantity that its impossible to finish the dishes.
That was all about my weekend and how it proceeded.

I-Pod Mania

I just read an article that Ferrari is also gonna support the I-pod integration in their cars. Prior to this I have read. Here is a link on Apple's Site displaying what all manufacturers have or are going to have the I-Pod support in their vehicles.
In Japan, Nissan, Mazda, Daihatsu, BMW, MINI, smart and Alfa Romeo deliver iPod integration with their car stereos for 2006 model lines. It just made me think that" Is all this I-Pod hype justified?" . Moreover the new music dock from Bose (the most renowned namei n the sound industry) has support only for the i-pod jack and you can't fit any other music player with that.
I want to point out that there are other players in the market like i-river, Dell, Creative etc. which are producers of MP3 players, "What happens of them?" I think they also produce quality products. But Hyping a single product should not happen. I-pod is slowly becoming the Windows of the portable music players. It can be contributed to the ease of use and the right pricing of the i-pod.
Apple today alos unveiled its new video I-pod which is priced at $299 for a 30Gb and $399 for a 60Gb variant. I think this is the most competitive pricing I have seen for a music player in recent times. Maybe this justifies the hype surrounding the i-pod, but surely I am of the opinion that flowing with the wave should not happen and one should really search for the features they want and then make a decision to buy from the various choices available.

The Divine Evil Lord

Interesting heading this post has .Today is the eve of Dussehra in India and this festival symbolizes the end of evil by the good. I am reffering to ravana as "The Divine lord of evil" .Ravana, though evil, was the most learned man in the history of mankind. So learned he was, that the symbolic representation of ravana is a man with ten heads. Its said that he had the brain equivalent of 10 men.
Luckily for me the effigies of Ravana and his two brothers , Maghanad and Kumbhakarana were to be burnt near just a little away from my office building. So I went to the top , on the seventh floor, when the sun was just about to set. But they burnt the effigies at 1930 here , so I had to wait alomost 2 hours to see ravana burn. I took my camera along and clicked for many pictures for almost 2 hours . I will post those here tomorrow. Many of my colleagues had come with their wives and children just to have the best look for the Dussehra celebrations. The traffic in the city was just out of control kinds today. Then me and my rommate went to a mall and I had Italian veg lassagne for dinner. The place is called Fortune platters and it has ended up becoming my favourite place for having a sumptous dinner. The resturant uses the best tasting sauces for cooking. Its a great place to eat, with the prices absoutely justified keeping in mind the quality they give.
Dussehra is celebrated differently in different parts of india and is considered as representation of the win of good over evil. 20 days after dussehra, follws the festival of Lights ,'Deepwali' as its complete name goes and the short and mostly used name is 'Diwali' . May this Dussehra bring he end of evil in this ever growing violent world.
Here are the pictures of The Dussehra eve.

Microsoft ..All in one

Recently there have been many a lot fingers pointed at MS for trying to do 'I dont know what?'
They integrated PDF making capabilities in their Office 12 , they are developing the Microsoft Expression range of products , and moreover the move to build a security client has really been condemned.
In this world of competetion MS is moving towards perhaps eliminating the competetion fully ?? But I think, in the light of the Antitrust cases they have had in their kitty in the recent times they should be a bit more careful with their steps. There are laws geverning the monopolistic moves of any enterprise and these moves reflect complete Martial law moves to make the end customer so much MS dependent that they don't spend money on products of any other vendor.

I dont know about the intrications of complex things but yeah , according to my personal opinion, the less enemies you have in this world the happier you are. Making enemies is really easy in this competitive world. Best of luck neways

"I always wanted to..."

"I always wanted to..." sounds familiar isn't it. This is the thought that echoes in my mind atleast once everyday. The thought is complemented by a different end each day, I always wanted to have more money, I always wanted to be a famous person, I always wanted to be in XYZ place , I always wanted to be able to fly, I always wanted to have magical powers , I always wanted to have a genie of my own and the list perhaps goes on till you can imagine.
This thought provoking "I always wanted to" was seeded into my mind by a latest car ad that comes on and off now adays on TV. Its the Tata Safari Dicor (the ad) and it really has some very thought provoking stimuli in it. I could not help writing about it.

This guy, standing in the middle of the crowd says " I always wanted to quit on moday morning" ...perhaps the thought of many in the crowd and many in the real life too. Out of 100 people I think only 2 or maybe 3 are really happy with what they are doing , for the rest its their bread and butter. This is the world sir, its harsh, what do you think ? everyone's not born with a golden spoon in their mouth.

Here this guys says "I always wanted to swim with the whales" ..ah my oh so old fantasy of swimming with the dolphins comes to my mind. I really want to swim with the dolphins once in my life. I love the movie series Free Willy just because of this. Ah the freedom of the sea, the intoxication of free will and the spirit of an explorer. Makes me feel ecstatic only when I think of it.
Here this old man says "I always wanted to chase the rain" .This echoes the thoughts of my mind every rainy season, the raindrops falling on the glass windows making that soothing musical noise, a wave of respite and heat released from your brain when you hear that sound . I dont know what always holds me back from going and expressing my joy by feeling the raindrops on my face. Its the dammn sophistication or the thought "Hey What will people think..." Darn!!! My thoughts which hold me back from enjoying the joys of nature.

Here this guy echoes me. What I and you perhaps really do... He keeps sitting and thinking "I always wanted to..." and the cloks behind him keeps running in circles as it does for all of us . Time passed by and we keep thinking "I always wanted to..." Just look at the depth of these words, Then there is the line which I love "Reclaim your life " , but then it occurs to me .."HOW !! Godammnit !! HOW???"

Then I think how not only me but many people just think and hold themselves back by saying this to themselves "I always wanted to...". According to me as the technology progresses and the world becomes so techhy we are losing the sense of Reclaiming our lives , we rather prefer to be enslaved by our thoughts , the world , the material things just to show something to whom ...These Mortals (who really dont care). We entered the 21st century 5 years ago , and it brought with it many a lot new great technology, but I am afraid for many of us it took away our creativity, our freedom of thoughts , the thoughts being guided by the material things which if not in reach ,we struggle to earn to get them, and what after you have it....The charm is lost in not so long ...Then what ...We see something else and then work towards it ....

Stop it!!! We need a break ...and fulfill atleast something that "I always wanted to" thoughts say to you. I dont want to think about what people are thinking of me and have fun like I am in the world for one day... I think I will be able to do this some day... alas !!! I may not end up saying , like all these people..."I always wanted to..."

The sun rises and sets every day and the thought "I always wanted to..." echoes in the back of our minds. I wish that we dont miss the oppurtunity called LIFE to play the music our minds long to hear and can give anything to play. The music oh so soothing it takes away all the worries for a moment.
Best of luck .... Mortals !!!

The Dentist- A journey

Its been about 5 weeks now that I have a dental appointment every Satuday. So I have the same pattern of journey which I would like to write about. I had to get a RCT(Root Canal Treatment)done and one more long pending crown.
While I was on the way to the dentist ,an earthquake of 6.8 Richter intensity rocked Delhi. But I was commuting at that time so I really didnt feel anything.
Well now begins the journey. I travel 20kms through heavy traffic , zipping throught the traffic and reach a Metro Station. There I park my vehicle and board a metro train which takes me from one corner of delhi to the other (where my dentist is).

I walk about 300 meters and reach the dentist's clinic. I sit and wait for him to call me to sit on that chair. Then he starts the digging , probing , polishing and what not in my mouth. After I am finished with the sitting. I head back to the Metro station and take the train back to the station is boarded earlier and reach back to my vehicle and then again Vrooomm!!!
During my journey ,now since it has been a 5 week affair, I see some common sights everytime I would like to write here. I start and I see the unruly traffic on my way to the Metro station. Its like a back breaking 20kms journey from my home to the boarding station. Traffic sense of people in delhi is approximately zero..haha. When in the train , I see many kind of people, some first timers for the metro looking around in awe the technology called the Delhi Metro (its a real neat job done by the Delhi Metro Corporation) , some MobChatters(read Mobile Chatters), some thinkers , some filling up their admission forms, some reading their course books , some deep into thoughts , some talking like chatterboxes , others onlookers and sitters. As the train starts from the station all kind of people shuffle and move around . I keep standing near the door (closed offcourse) and keep watching what people are doing. I like observing people. Then comes a church on the way, I make sure I find it and see it once on my way to and fro, there comes a bridge over the Yamuna river, then there are other interesting sights on every journey.
This journey to the dentist takes half of my day and now at this time I am thinking of watching a movie in the evening. Lets see how it works out ..I will write about the movie , if I see it..

The Nainital Experience

In Nainital
The trip to Nainital was a great experience. I went there with my colleagues. We were a group of 90 people in all. We started off from the New Delhi railways station and on the day of leaving (friday 16th Sep) it was raining cats and dogs. We took the train and reached KaathGodam station at around morning 6ish and then started on buses towards Nainital.
We reached Nainital but the rain still persisted. It was a real heavy downpour, so we had no option but to settle down in our Hotel and get fresh and have our Breakfast. We spend most of the day in playing Damsharas, Housie , cards and a stint in the rain which left us all drenched :)

The day ended on a note of despair for some , as it was in inside outing. But we had fun and I clicked a few pictures. The next day The rain gods favored us and the morning welcomed us with a bright sun. There was a commotion as it was sunday and our last day, saturday had been washed out , so everyone was in a hurry to get out and do the site seeing. Nainital is a region which has 9(Naini) lakes (tal) ..hence this name. We made a group of 6 guys , hired a SUV and headed for siteseeing at around 1100 am and we had to return by 400 pm.
First of all we went to a place called lake view, there was a marvellous view of the lake (dont remember the name). Then there was a Himalaya point (where you can see me in the main pic), it had the view of himalayas.
We then proceeded to a place called Lovers point. It had the usual , rocks and a deep vally behind the rocks ..meant for the lovers to either shout and proclaim their love for each other or die if they wanted to sacrifice for love ..hehe. From there we proceeded to a small waterfall , following which we went to a temple and then we saw the zoo (it had some awesome cheetahs and a huge owl, the biggest I have seen in my entire life).
After seeing the zoo , I insisted that I want to go to the Church which was there in the city and so I went. I like churchs for the peace and the candor they have. After that we walked along the lake and after a 30 min walk headed back to the hotel. Had our lunch and packed for the return journey.
That was the Nainital experience. There is a album here having a few of my pics.Overall it was an enjoyable experience for me, a nice break for the weekend.

The battle that ended in victory!!!

Hmpphhhh!!! Finally I emerged victorious against 3 enemies after a battle that lasted grueling 5 hours. I am talking about winning a game of Ages of Empires ( The conquerors). I had been playing against 3 players under the Moderate difficulty level from the last week and they used to get together and busted me out real bad. But finally I found how not to let them get together and instead of fighting 3 on 1, how to make them fight all 4 against each one of the other.

The situation is a little complex but yeah , then these computer's players keep attacking with Spearmen and Archers like a wall of determination. But building castles , walls and bombard towers helps me a lot, once you have surrounded your city with walls and bombard towers, then there is a chance to take the onslaught which is from all the directions. They kill the workers and don’t let them extract resources, today two of the players also brought terbuchelets to blow up my castles. One was sending his doomed ships to me quite frequently but eventually I subdued this enemy at the sea and then proceeded to destroy his city from the sea using my Elite Canon ships to destroy targets at land , fast fire and galleons to destroy targets at sea. Finally they managed to breach my city's wall after suffering heavy casualties. But I was ready; my army of archers, paladins, and swordsmen were waiting. But I was out of gold and stone to even proceed with repairs.

2 players subjugated but the third one persisted. The guy had made god knows at least 15 town centers. I sent workers to gather as much stone as they could from the areas of subjugated players and built castles around the city of the standing player, for gold I had to destroy the temples and capture the relics as there was no gold left on the land. Finally after a prolonged battle and destroying all his town centers the third player subjugated and the long awaited message "You are Victorious" appeared on my computer screen..hhhmmmppphh what a relief i said to myself.

Pssttt!!! I had to win this time as the book I am reading these days before I go to sleep is none other then "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu(known as the master in the warcraft). Its an interesting book, but when you start reading it, it sounds all so weird to the mind but after you are through around 30 pages (at a stretch) , it appeals to the instinct in your mind. Then the mind says "Yeah !!That’s what I call cool stuff....Let the enemy come , now I know the art of war!!" But, I think I need to read that book as many times as possible to memorize those tips Sun Tzu gives. He gives quite a lot valuable tips out of which some can be applied to the daily life events. In the first reading I don’t think I will recall much after a week of finishing the book, so may be I will go through that once every month. Just thinking, my procrastinator part never let me do this ....arrghhhh!!! I have to get over that procrastinating devil in me.

In the evening went for a short Basket ball game and came back to my desk. Life is getting interesting with time. I like my present job ...;)

Ccchhaaaarrge!!!!

Irony called Life

Click this Image for a larger view

The Irony

I took this pic myself and the very first thing which struck my mind while clicking this one was the irony it depicted. There is a tree ,which is oh not so old, and in the background someone who is old. This is an image of a village lady sitting in the basking sun, cherishing the lovely morning.
There is a thought in her mind , perhaps many , and what can that be. The greenery of the tree, so prominent in the picture, catches the eye instantly but as the focus has ignored her in this picture similarly she may be in her life by her family. Its the story of everyone's life (exceptions excluded) , you are born and you get all the attention , you grow up and you grab attention and as you grow old you lose attention.
The thoughts in the mind of a person who has covered the maximum probable distance in their life surely echoes what all that person did in their entire life. So I am afraid at times that, if I do something wrong, what will my thoughts be at an age when I have nothing else to do than think of the milestones in my journey called 'Life'. So I try to do what I feel is right at my heart.
Sometimes the thought of being so alone and lonely shudders the young heart in me.The look on the face of the old lady in the picture speaks a thousand words though she does not. The plant in the foreground represents the distance between her present and her greener age.The picture depicts Spring and Autumn at the same time.
Live life to the fullest, till you can...
Be Young at heart and stay greener on the inside, though what people see is autumn

Fuel of the Future - Hydrogen

5 years down the line my MP3 player , cars , laptop ,mobiles and a host of other daily use electronic gadgets may probably fall prey to the Fuel cell revolution. Its likely that maybe, who knows commercial electricity may be or home generators start running on this avtaar. The by product of fuel cell engine is pure water.
Scinetists are researching many possible ways to elongate life of fuel cell based products by developing ability to generate Hydrogen on the fly. This once accomplished can allow the manufacturers to explore deep into this possiblity. Imagine the technology being simplified to a level where you will be filling up water in your car or an elctronic gadget to run it. I would just love to see that day ASAP..haha. We surely would be all having Reverse Osmosis water systems at our homes when this technology completely evolves ;) I think I can do that investment to save a lot of other fuel costs.
Its the human way to always research and find an alternative to the existing things i.e if the existing things become a pain in the neck. With the fuel cells coming into mass production may be many a things which are perils of the usage , extraction and the processes involved in the production of hydrocarbon based fuels will be reduced. But still there are a lot of issues to be combated before this technology comes into the use of the masses. You can find an exhaustive knowledge on the fuel cells on clicking on this link .
Happy Reading!!!

Take on life

There is a song from a Bollywood movie 'Page 3' , the song is titled 'Kitne Ajeeb Rishte hain'
The song talks about many a true facts of relations in today's world. It truly tells how people meet and spend time with each other till the times are good and as soon as blues haunt one person's life how the other person desserts him/her. Everone is too self-centered to take care of themselves only. Actually I hate the Page 3 crowd for many a reasons - their plasticky smiles, their oh so great anecdotes, ways of life , gaudy parties , superiority complexes, flashy cars, modern clothes. What motivates them and makes them feel their life is worth all this is still a puzzle for me. These are people from a totally different dimension of life.

For a person like me this life is about dreams and living in dreams keeps me happy. Time always plays new games on us.Whatever happens we have to stay happy somehow. The destination seems close at every point of life but we have never to give up.Relations, or Rishte in hindi, are something very important in life which are like pearls you discover during the journey called life. I really pity people who dont know how to cherish the joy of relations , how to suffer the pain of relations and how to feel that feeling a good relation (be it any) brings in you.I dont like when people take relations, meant to be taken seriously, lightly and show a just for fun attitude. I dont know why I am writing all this ..as I was listening to that song I wrote in the beginning of this post , I just wrote this mixed kind of entry.
The path to glory according to me is living life with character , walking tall , standing for something you believe in, never giving up, faith in yourself and god and many more things which make sense as life progresses and how it progresses for different people.

Be Yourself!!!

Ad free Opera

Opera removed the ads from the new free Opera 8.5.
Its been seen as a move to share the niche with Firefox. Opera claims to have a better browser then Firefox in terms of speed , stability , features and usability. But Firefox has a lot of plugin support (though its at times cumbersome to download and separately install all the plugins for Firefox) making it quite a great performer.
I am a firefox user and I do like it. Opera's new move to derail firefox can be seen as a potential drain for the Firefox community but I dont think it will affect much. I am not against Opera, I have used it too its a real feature rich browser, but I think regular users of computers do have this Browserophobia (in which they prefer to use one particular browser of their own choice) so maybe Opera's move 6 months earlier had benefitted it more then now.
Though the Norwegian software developer (Opera) claims 2.4m downloads of the ad-free version of the browser since 20 September. But still Opera's browser market share is down at around 2-3 per cent or lower while Firefox has a market share of around 8.8 per cent. I dont think these figures are gonna have sea changes with the ad-free Opera too.
Lets see which browser dons the desktops of the masses...Adi

Sun's Sense of humor

Sun has taken out a few ads targeting directly at Dell (their rival in the server business).
Sun's sense of humor has really been potrayed very nicely in these ads.

Moreover the banner on the Sun's site says this:))

A Great Movie in the making

I saw The Cinderella Man over the weekend. Its a real classic made after a long time. The movie according to me is a must watch.
I saw the 10:15 show at Waves. It was a nice evening to spend at CSM. Had Italian Chicken Lasagne at the Fortune Platters at the basement level of CSM and then went for the movie and had a large popcorn.
The movie really kept you glued to the seat. Russell Crowe has proved his acting skills yet again. The guy has made several classics earlier like The Beautiful Mind based on real life stories of people. This movie (Cinderella Man) is also a real life story of a Boxer who fights the odds of life during the time of Great Depression to sustain his family. Its a movie about how he defies time with his strong will. For me it was completely Paisaa Vasool!!!
As usual I didnt miss my meetha paan ..:)
